Seminar Series Interaction Design

I arrange the "Seminar Series in Interaction Design" at the Department of Applied IT during 2015 and 2016.

The seminars are held every other tuesday at 13.15.

Design Seminars

During 2013-2014 I have been arranging Design seminars, where design reserachers from different fields were invited to participate. The seminars were called Research writing seminars. Each time we took a different perspective such as discussing design practitioners work, design management, design thinking, music creation and AI, aesthetics in organizations, aesthetic use and more.

By meeting once a month we could provided high level feedback on each others research papers and other important work related to design-oriented research. This support us to generate research knowledge that is valuable  - across different design-related fields.

In 2013 we had 21 design-oriented researchers that signed up with interest to attend the seminars. Each seminar should consist of a mix of people from HDK, GU, Chalmers and Borås and we discuss 2-3 papers/work.
