The cost of accessibility

Web accessibility knowledge is great, but I am really annoyed that this type of knowledge is not free. To me this, and research should be open access!
Othewise, we slow down the process of making people learn these very important things... that is an everyday struggle for many people that are excluded from services.

I can understand that a certificate can cost something.
But not the knowledge. It should be easy accessible.
